1. Who we are

SipCount is operated by:

For users in the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or California, Versey EOOD acts as the data controller of your personal data.

2. Information we collect

a. Account information

When you sign in, we receive:

• Your email address
• An optional display name and avatar
• A provider-issued identifier if you use Sign in with Apple or Google (we never receive your Apple/Google password)

b. Activity and health-related entries

We store data you log in-app, including:

• Drinks and water entries (name, time, caffeine, sugar, volume)
• Daily goals (caffeine cap, sugar cap, hydration target, cutoff hour)
• Onboarding answers (age range, biological sex, weight, intake patterns, symptoms) — used only to personalize your plan

c. Photos for AI scanning

When you use AI photo capture, the photo is sent to Anthropic (provider of Claude) so the model can identify the drink and estimate nutrients. We do not retain the photo on our servers; only the parsed result (e.g. “Latte · ~150 mg caffeine · 12 g sugar”) is saved to your log.

d. Subscription information

Purchases are processed by Apple or Google and reconciled via RevenueCat. We receive entitlement state (e.g. “Pro: active until 2026-06-01”) but never your payment-card details.

e. Device and technical information

• Device locale and language preference
• Push notification token (only if you enable reminders)
• Time zone (used to schedule reminders correctly)
